Types of Women in a Relationship
I've came across a video on Facebook by Akinspiration on the types of women in a relationship and I felt like penning it down here as I feel that it is really important to men and women out there . Many of us have had bad experience and probably many of you think like I do just because of the constant bad experiences , "all men / women are trash" or "are the same" , but the truth is there are many good people out there . Perhaps the fault lies on ourselves .
In the video , they mentioned that there 3 types of women in relationships : a girl , a material girl and a real woman . Now , we all want to be or have the real woman right ? However , how many of us know the qualities of a good woman or to be one ? Everything that is written below are extracted from the video itself and summarised for my own reference as well as for this blog .
A girl
" Until you know where you are going and your purpose for going there , you may never get anywhere in life . Without purpose , effort can be a complete waste of time . "
Being a girl is a stage in every woman's life , however , a girl in a relationship doesn't outgrow that . She can claim to have a maturity of a real woman but has an attitude of a girl . A girl can be educated , beautiful , presentable , hardworking and independent . She may have what it takes to get a man but lacks what it takes to keep him . She cares more about his height than his heart or his situation rather than his destination . She has an endless preference for her type of man ( tall , rich , handsome , talented , funny etc. ) ; she ends up building a wall of high standards that no man is ever good enough .
A girl goes into a relationship without a purpose . She's very quick to lose a man before she even gets him because she would turn a peaceful first date into a tough job interview . She puts pressure on the man and is a pro at the blame game . She always does the same thing yet expects different results . She starts a new relationship without taking her time to learn why the last one failed . She will ignorantly expose her relationship and thinks she is taking advice . She will be more concern about the wedding than the marriage itself and has no understanding of a woman's role in marriage and is not ready to learn . She is unable to find a balance between her career and her personal life ; more focused on making a living and forgetting to live . A girl nags , lacks patience and complains every time about everything and that frustrates men and can turn any gentlemen into a beast . She will also bring other's bad experience into her own marriage or relationship and treat her man badly for the things he knew nothing about . She will complain about what her man is doing wrong and never gives credit for what he does right . Communication with a girl is a one-way traffic as she only wants to be heard and hates to listen .
A Material Woman
The difference between a material woman and a girl is that a material girl knows what she wants. A material girl has no dignity or respect for herself and without dignity or respect , life becomes worthless .
" It's really hard to have future plans with someone whose interest is only in the present . "
A material girl will only give her love to materialistic things and believes that her love is not for free . To her , a relationship is like a job and a marriage is a source of income . She will only function on benefits and will do anything as long as there is cash involved . Dating or marrying a material girl is a waste of time as they are hard to satisfy and their love is only for sale . A material girl can not pretend for long and is " allergic " to endurance as she has no interest in the future . A material girl is a player and the financial status of a man will determine how much they will get from her . You can't waste her time as it means nothing to her . A man who wins the love of a material girl will never respect her as he is able to buy her love with money and will treat her like possession .
A Real Woman
A real woman is an angel with a character of a queen and is the best gift any man can get . A real woman is ambitious , independent , faithful , intelligent , adorable and peaceful . She knows what she wants in a relationship and knows that she isn't perfect but continues to work on her flaws . She has no time for games and players as she is focused on making herself a dream woman . A real woman is emotional but will not love without her brain . She is not after money as she is capable of taking care of herself . She is more concern of what drives a man than what a man drives . She measures her man on the level of wisdom , how discipline he can be financially and towards his family and how well he treats others . A real woman seldom complains and is more observant. She is peaceful in her approach and just in her judgements . She will get angry but not forever , she forgets quickly but has limits . A real woman is dedicated and family-oriented ; will do anything to protect her home . She will pray for and with her man ; talk to him than talk about him . A real woman is able to find balance between her career and personal life . She will choose everlasting joy over temporary luxury . She will not settle for less , is not proud but knows her worth . She will only follow if you prove to her that you know where you are going in life ; she is ready to be a wife if the qualities of a husband is shown .
With all that , I took my time and read through what qualities of a woman in these types do I possess . I'm not embarrass nor discouraged that I possess traits of a girl or a material girl , in fact now that I know what a real woman's qualities are , I feel more of a need to work towards that . Rather than looking for the right one , BE the right one and I'm sure the right one for you will come along . However , don't lose your diamond while being busy collecting stones .
Understand that mind set is the most important and whatever you think of yourself is what defines you . What others say or think about you should not matter .
